Miami's iconic Turnover Chain — a massive, blinged-out gold chain — is placed around the neck of any player who forces a turnover. Introduced in 2017, it became a national sensation and one of the most celebrated in-game traditions in college football history.

The legendary Miami tailgate scene outside Hard Rock Stadium is one of the best in college football. Salsa music, Cuban food, tropical cocktails, and a sea of orange and green make it a uniquely Miami experience that you won't find anywhere else in the ACC.

Sebastian the Ibis — Miami's beloved mascot — roams the sidelines and fires up the crowd at Hard Rock Stadium. The ibis was chosen because it's the last bird to take shelter before a hurricane and the first to emerge after — perfectly embodying the Hurricanes spirit.

A cannon fires after every Hurricanes touchdown, sending a plume of smoke into the South Florida air. The boom echoes through Hard Rock Stadium and signals another score for the 'Canes — a tradition that's been rattling opponents for decades.

When Miami makes a big play, the entire stadium erupts in 'The U is Back!' — a rallying cry that references the program's legendary dynasty of the 1980s and 90s. It's a reminder of Miami's place among college football's all-time great programs.
