Voted the most exciting 25 seconds in college football — the entire Clemson team runs down a steep hill into Death Valley while 81,500 fans go absolutely berserk. The tradition began in 1942 and remains the most electrifying team entrance in all of college sports.

Every Clemson player rubs Howard's Rock — a piece of flint from Death Valley, California — at the top of The Hill before running down. Coach Frank Howard declared 'anyone who rubs that rock will be imbued with the will to win.' The ritual has been sacred since 1967.

The Clemson team walks from the Jervey Athletic Center through a tunnel of thousands of cheering fans to the stadium. College Avenue is lined with orange-clad Tigers fans who cheer, slap hands, and send the team off with a roar.
